My name is Kendall Sierakowski. Most people call me Kendall, or ironically, “Ski” from the last name. I have been a skier for over 30 years. I am a beginner/intermediate snowboarder. With the short amount of time we have every year to ski, I never tried snowboarding. However I felt it was imperative to learn while working on Bodhiz. I have always been a maker/inventor, starting when I was 17. Bodhiz was something I felt should be pursued. The cost and time of patents, testing, and (re)engineering has been exhausting. I didn’t know how to snowboard, and yet I learned to turn with this system. Within the first week of riding, I was able to hit an advanced blue run and reposition my feet while still moving down the slope unlocked. (Something typical bindings don’t allow.)
